POST 5: CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME.
Hi everyone :P💕
Currently I'm studying psychology and the subjects that I have been studied until now are like philosophy, psychology, history, psychobiology, research methods, statistics 1, among others. In the future, I have to study subjects like psychiatry, cognitive neuroscience and some of the specialties of psychology (clinical, community, educational, legal and occupational psychology). The workload is quite high since you have to read, analyze and write essays a lot, so that is another important thing to adjust in the career, and the duration is fine for what it is.
The beginning of the career is a bit slow and pointless since they are not subjects "very related" to psychology at first sight, but in any case, they are important to understand the scope of psychology, although, I don't think it affects taking philosophy and history out of the first semester and adjust other subjects as well. Also, until now, I have only seen the use of technology when my clasmmates and I are taking notes and in the form of pdfs for the readings, but we interact with technology every day in search of information that can help us to explore and expand the knowledge.
Thanks to the pandemic, the faculty spaces have been a bit more restricted and I hope that when it's get safer we will have the opportunity to interact in other spaces apart from our usual saloons because it gets a bit boring to be in the same spaces when most of the teachers are not interactive or dynamic for their classes and we just listen to them talk and talk and talk....and that is something that I would totally change to be more dynamic and carry out more participation activities, the examples are also good!!!
